Today, Apple filed another Mac in the Eurasian database with a model number of A2289. The name in the database system named a “portable personal computer brand Apple ‘model A2289’ (software version macOS 10.15)” means that Apple may release a 13-inch MacBook Pro with macOS Catalina this spring.

The next MacBook Pro 13-inch will be like the 16-inch late 2019 MacBook Pro, with a scissor-style keyboard but without a 1-inch size bump.  Other than the MacBook Pro 13-inch early 2020 model, Apple filed a “rack-mounted” Mac Pro and a next-generation Apple TV 5K in the database. The upcoming aforementioned Mac Pro is also listed as “coming soon” on the Mac Pro purchase webpage.

These upcoming products will be released in an event in March, on the WWDC keynote in June or in September’s Apple event. But all of the filings made today have the latest version of macOS and tvOS listed in the database names, which may have a release date in the spring.
